by Cindy left Mel and the show tonight to start the episode. She wanted a guy who was, “on fire for her”, but quickly realized Mel was not. Cindy decided to walk away because Mel simply wasn’t in it for the same reasons she was. Mel had a chance to talk her into staying but chose not to. They simply weren’t in it for the same reasons. She wanted a long-term plan while Mel was a go as it comes kind of guy. She wanted to know how she related to his life but he was simply observing her.
Things with Peg went MUCH BETTER as she hit it off with Mel’s sons, like many of us knew she would given her personality. Peg is easy to like and the perfect Yin to Mel’s Yang. Easy going with no too much drama who enjoys life.
In the end, Mel made the right choice by handing Peg the final rose. However, true to his word, he was not there to get engaged but rather continue the journey with the woman he fell in love with. Peg seemed okay with it too and wasn’t in it a rush. She got a promise ring, but not an engagement ring, and again, seemed totally okay with it.
A good season, much better then the first!
