Per a press release earlier today, “Scott Teti, who’s the showrunner for Bachelor In Paradise, is now in charge of The Bachelor. Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner were the previous showrunners, but they left after the show was accused of harboring a toxic workplace environment.”.
They are also in talks about changing the format after a disastrous past two season as both Jenn Trann and Gran Ellis struggled in their turns as the lead. The main source of the backlash coming from viewers reportedly being upset by having a minority forced down their throats instead of a popular choice such as Maria.
Expect more on this to come out later this summer as the show is set to kick off in January of 2026.
