by ABA Professional Basketball has arrived Northeast, Ohio with the Burning River Buckets!
The original ABA was a staple in 1970’s basketball culture with such names as Dr. J Julius Erving, James Silas, Louie Dampier, Marvin Barnes and Mack Calvin to Rick Barry, Spencer Haywood, Moses Malone and George “Ice Man” Gervin, the Buckets are bringing all of that family fun back!
The ABA is directly responsible for teams such as the Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs joining the NBA after the merger. The ABA is a sporting event you can actually afford taking your family too.
They start their season later this month, including 9 exciting home games. The home opener is Saturday November 13th, at 7pm against the Illinois Bulldogs. From there, they welcome teams from all over the Midwest including the Knights from Chicago, and also the Steel City Yellow Jackets from PA. Don’t forget crosstown rival the Akron Aviators.
