Olmsted Falls defeated Brunswick 42-6 after taking control early and producing strong performances on both sides of the ball.
The game began with defensive stops by both teams, including fumbles on each of their opening drives. Olmsted Falls eventually broke through when quarterback No. 16 Cameron Pesch connected with No. 29 Adam Smith for a touchdown. The extra point gave the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead.
Brunswick had an opportunity to score in the second quarter, but Olmsted Falls blocked its field-goal attempt. Soon after, No. 5 Grant Hrabnicky intercepted a Brunswick pass and returned 30 yards for a touchdown, extending the Bulldogs’ lead to 14-0.
Olmsted Falls continued its strong second quarter when Pesch found No. 14 Keagan Smith for another touchdown. The Bulldogs then completed a two-point conversion to increase their lead to 22-0.
Before Halftime, Pesch connected with Keagan Smith again for a 15-yard touchdown. The extra point was successful, sending Olmsted Falls into halftime with a 29-0 advantage.
The Bulldogs carried their momentum into the second half. Pesch opened the third quarter with a 56-yard touchdown run, increasing the lead to 36-0. No. 34 Elvis Richard later added another rushing touchdown to make the score 42-0.
Brunswick continued to compete and avoided the shutout when No. 13 Eicher caught a touchdown pass. However, Olmsted Falls’ early advantage proved too much to overcome as the Bulldogs secured the 42-6 victory.
