Go Fund Me Started to Help Beloved Neighborhood Favorite Reilly’s Irish Bakery

We all know and love Reilly’s Irish Bakery.  It has been a family favorite of the Westside for many years with everything from Bakery to comfort foods!  Not only that, but hands down the best sticky buns and Corned Beef Sandwiches you will ever find! I’ve known Maria and her family for over 25 years and her husband Matt is one of the most upstanding human beings I’ve ever met.  They help out everyone they can and are truly the salt of the earth people.  Now, the need your help!

Jennie Z has started the below GO Fund Me for them as they are facing a massive challenge right now due to a broken freezer and need our help.  Instead of trying to explain, I will let Jennie’s absolutely beautiful words below do the talking and she nailed it! There is a link at the bottom of this article to donate any amount you can.  Thank you!

EXPLANATION OF WHAT HAPPENED BELOW

Reilly’s Irish Bakery & Deli first opened its doors 18 years ago at The Westside Market, where Ronnie, Maria, and family began sharing their passion for homemade Irish baked goods and deli fare with the Cleveland community. Their dedication and love for authentic recipes quickly earned them a loyal following, and they continue to run that original location today. Eight years ago, they expanded by opening their main bakery in Fairview Park, which has become the heart of their operation. Here, Maria, her husband Matt, her mother Ronnie, and a team of spectacular employees work every day to create fresh food, baked goods, and warm memories for everyone who visits.

Reilly’s is more than just a bakery—it’s a gathering spot where neighbors come together for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and treats made with the best ingredients. The family and their staff pour their hearts into every recipe, making sure each customer feels like part of the Reilly’s family.

Last week, Reilly’s faced an unexpected challenge when their walk-in freezer suffered a catastrophic compressor failure. Thanks to the incredible efforts of family, friends, and neighboring businesses, they managed to save their inventory before it thawed. This experience was a powerful reminder of the supportive community that surrounds them. However, replacing commercial refrigeration is a costly burden that no small business ever plans for, and it couldn’t have come at a more difficult time for Maria and her family. Reilly’s has made a substantial investment in the business’s future, and this unexpected expense threatens the progress they’ve worked so hard to achieve.

I’m starting this fundraiser because I care deeply about the people behind Reilly’s and everything they do for our community. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them recover from this unexpected expense so they can continue serving the community they love. If you prefer not to donate online, you can always come in to Reilly’s and donate directly to the donation box. Sharing this fundraiser or stopping by the bakery to support them is just as appreciated. Thank you for supporting a local family, a local business, and the people who work so hard every day to make our community a little sweeter.
