3 AEW Wrestlers Set to Leave for WWE in 2026

In wont be a mass exodus by any stretch, as WWE has already taken most of AEW’s top stars over the past 3 years, but I would strongly expect these 3 to be the next ones to jump ship.

Powerhouse Hobbs: After his AEW contract expired in mid-January 2026, Hobbs opted not to re-sign, with sources indicating a strong likelihood he would sign with WWE, drawn by their interest and desire for a fresh start.

Chris Jericho: While not a permanent departure, Jericho has used his AEW contract status to return to WWE for special appearances, with speculation mounting about his long-term future potentially leaning towards WWE for a final run.

Anna Jay: With her contract up in the spring of 2026, recent reports she’s open to exploring options, including potential WWE interest due to her connections, especially after feeling underutilized in AEW, leading to fan speculation about a move to NXT or elsewhere.
