Player Performance Spotlight: River QB Carter Atwater

This week’s spotlight performance is shined upon Rocky River QB Carter Atwater.

Carter Atwater came off the bench on the second possession of the River Pirates home game against Valley Forge this past weekend.  Not only is it tough enough getting thrusted into action out of nowhere, but he had to replace one of the best QB’s if not the best QB in the CWC in Ryan Taylor who was banged up.  Carter not only showed up but showed out!  He went 10 of 12 for 256 yards with 5 touchdowns in a 42-14 victory.

With the timetable up in the air for Taylor, the Pirates will be in good hands with Atwater as River has an embarrassment of riches at quarterback . River is currently 3 – 1 as they travel to CWC rival Lakewood this Friday night.

Good luck to Carter and all his teammates!  Also, Ryan, please know we at Kee On Sports are pulling for a quick and safe recovery!  Pirate nation has always been incredible towards Kee On Sports and were are behind you!
