River QB Ryan Taylor Piling Up The Points in Back to Back Wins

The River Pirates are off to a 2-0 start thanks in part to the hot hand of their quarterback Ryan Taylor.  Through 2 games, Taylor has had efforts of 167 yards and 2 touchdowns in the air with one on the ground while rushing for 45 yards in a dominant 52-7 victory over Firestone.

He built off that week 2 while only playing the first half against John Marshall, Taylor managed to throw for 132 yards on 9 of 11 passing with 2 touchdowns.  He also did major damaged with his legs as he scored on all 3 of his rush attempts while compiling 77 yards on those three rushing scores.  This was part of a 55-6 win over John Marshall.

That is a total of 299 yards passing with 4 touchdowns in the air while rushing for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns.  All of this has helped the Pirates outscore their opponents 107-13.  Taylor and the Pirates will look to stay hot this Friday night as they travel to Lake this weekend.  This will be a huge test for Taylor and the Pirates against a perennial playoff contender in the Blue Streaks. The Blue Streaks are 2-0 with wins over Boardman and South Range. They have outscored their opponents 97-33.
