Are Karrion Kross & The WWE Really Parting Ways?

Karrion Kross has released a statement notifying his fans that the WWE has failed to reach an extension agreement on his contract.  This would leave everyone to believe that following two straight PLE losses to Sami Zayn, his time in the WWE is about done.

I would have to disagree however and I actually feel this is a work, much like the one the WWE orchestrated in 2011 with CM Punk.  Kross is more over now with the WWE fan base then he has been in a long time.  With Cena leaving soon, Roman a part timer and no real time table on how long Brock Lesnar is truly back, WWE is going to need a spark, and Kross can be that guy.  Perhaps him, “working with a contract” is the type of gimmick he truly needs to get super over. Or, perhaps this is all legit because he has shown little to no actual in ring ability in his WWE time and has been nothing more then a cool entrance.

Time will tell….
