Why do we love Candy?

Here is the scientific reason for it:

Sugar makes you feel good because when you consume sugar, your brain’s reward system activates, leading to feelings of happiness and satisfaction. Additionally, sugar can also suppress the stress response in the brain, helping to alleviate feelings of anxiety and tension.

Sugar consumption stimulates the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that plays a key role in the brain’s reward system. Dopamine is associated with feelings of pleasure, motivation, and satisfaction. The release of dopamine activates the brain’s reward system, which is responsible for reinforcing behaviors associated with pleasure and survival.  Sugar can also dampen the stress response in the brain, particularly the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, which controls the release of cortisol, the stress hormone.

The sweet taste of sugar is a strong motivator for eating, and the associated feelings of pleasure can further enhance the feeling of being good. Our brains have evolved to enjoy sweet foods because they are a reliable source of energy. This evolutionary connection reinforces the pleasurable experience associated with sugar consumption.

And,,,,, here is the Vince McKee reason for it. It looks and tastes great, just check out these photos!
