Prediction – Jey Uso retains
Reason for pick – There is no chance we do not get a Gunther vs Jey Uso rematch from WrestleMania. Logan Paul is simply here to kill time in the interim and buy some time. The real question is if they keep the strap on Jey after the rematch? Also, anyone else find it odd that Ludvig Kaiser just happened to be standing there a few weeks ago when Breakker and Rollins attacked Jey? Something is cooking folks and I believe it leads to Kaiser somehow being a part of it.
CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker
Prediction – Breakker and Rollins
Reason for pick – A lot of fans believe that it is only a matter of time before Zayn turns against Punk and becomes the “third man” of Heyman’s group. I personally do not see that happening and truly believe it will either be Ludvig Kaiser or Austin Theory as the selection. Either or, you cannot have Rollins and Breakker lose their first big Prime Time match. This isn’t on a PLE, but a win here would be treated as if it was on one. A loss for Breakker and Rollins would cut the legs right out of the angle.
Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena vs. R-Truth
Prediction – John Cena
Reason for pick – This is one more attempt at getting Cena over as a heel buy having him destroy one of the biggest babyfaces on the roster in R-Truth. This was the plan all along to have one last match with R-Truth as Cena had him on his short list for his final run. We will eventually get to a rematch with Cody and Cena, but, this gives him a chance to work as a heel on a big card. My only question is if Travis Scott gets involved because of the whole “rapper” angle they can play with. Again, I simply believe we are just buying time until Cody returns.
Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre (Steel Cage Match)
Prediction – Damian Priest
Reason for pick – Drew McIntyre has been real good about giving back wins to men who have put him over recently. With Priest losing to him at WrestleMania, I’d imagine he gets his win back here. On a separate note, Priest continues to do the best work of his career as of late and is over no matter if he wins or loses while Priest needs a win badly at this point.
Zelina Vega (c) vs. Chelsea Green for the women’s United States title
Prediction – Chelsea Green
Reason – Green is one of the hottest acts in all of Pro Wrestling right now, the title getting placed back on her shoulders would make total sense and add to her story even more. Plus, the show has to have at least one title change, and this is the only plausible one.
