by Westlake Demon Head Coach Brittney Matuschek has stepped away from the program. She is a new mother and this is a move that absolutely everyone who has children can easily understand. She did an incredible job in her two years with the program and led the Demons to a share of the CWC Conference title this past season. She was also named the Kee On Sports Co-Coach of the year in the CWC.
We wish coach Brittney nothing but the best of luck in her future endeavors as a mother and we’re positive we will see her again on the sidelines, sooner rather then later.
This also means that Westlake joins SJA, Lutheran West and North Royalton as local schools in need of a Girls Head Basketball coach.
