I’m proud to announce the promotion of Tony Bogan to the first ever Kee On Sports “High School Sports Director.” Tony started with the company in March of 2019 and has been a cornerstone of KOS ever since. Tony leads up the YouTube division of the company and has been a driving force behind everything we do in the high school sports scene.
Tony genuinely is one of the hardest working men you will ever meet, he truly cares about the athlete and wants nothing more then to give back and help high school athletics grow. No matter the cold weather of horrendous Ohio falls and winters, Tony always stands tall and never complains. He has been a mentor to new employees of the company and a friend.
Starting any new venture can be scary, but when Tony reached out to me in early 2019 to join KOS, I knew it was meant to be and I would never have to look back. I cannot stress this enough, his passion for what he does sets him apart. Furthermore, he is a sideline cameraman who is friendly to others. Tony is a good man that others can really take a lesson from in respect and kindness. He lives and breathes the Kee On Sports motto of, “Family First”.
My favorite Tony Bogan story actually has nothing to do with high school sports, but it must be shared to shed some further insight on what makes him special. Each summer we have a company picnic at my home and celebrate another year of success as a family. One year we played two-man homerun derby, and along with Cole McDaniel, Tony was on the winning side of things, defeating a field of nearly 30 others.
I’ve never seen Tony as happy as he was that night, he was beaming! I often say how it’s the family atmosphere and togetherness that has made Kee On Sports what it is today, we truly are in it for each other and Tony lives it every single day. He was so happy for Cole hitting those homers, it was impossible not to share in his joy. I’ll say it again, TONY IS FAMILY!
Please just don’t take my word for it, listen to what his co-workers at Kee On Sports have to say about Tony.
Our Executive Vice President Brandon Soeder-Penner had this to share about his experience working with Tony, “Tony has been an absolute cornerstone of Kee on Sports. For as long as I’ve known him, he has always been open to doing anything for the betterment of both the company and the people around him. I’ve never met anyone more devoted to high school sports than Tony Bogan.”
When I decided to start Kee On Sports, Tony Bogan was one of the first guys to come with me on this journey. Along with him was Mike Trivisonno. Mike, like Tony, has been an integral part of the success of Kee On Sports. Mike weighs in here on what makes Tony so special, “Every time I see Tony on the sidelines, I just know he does whatever it takes to get the absolute best coverage throughout Northeast Ohio. Tony wants to make a difference and he truly does it by the way he interacts with everybody no matter what the time or place is.”
Our VP of Operations Cole McDaniel had this to share, “No one is more dedicated to covering high school sports than our very own Tony Bogan. Tony will not only be seen on the sideline filming football in the fall, but he will continue to jam his schedule full of events to film during the winter and spring seasons as well.
Truthfully, if there were high school sports to cover in the summer, he would never take any time off. Tony braves the sometimes-harsh Ohio elements with his video camera to ensure that Ohio’s high school athletes get the video coverage that they deserve. His hard work and dedication is one of the main reasons Kee On Sports has seen such significant growth via YouTube.
For those who have not met Tony, you are missing out. If there was a dictionary definition to define him, it would state, “Uniquely himself, an extremely authentic individual, one of the most genuine souls you will ever have the privilege to know.”
Congratulations on your new title as “High School Sports Director”, Tony! You deserve it.”
Beat Writer and broadcaster Brandon Marvel, who has been a gift to the team since coming aboard in 2023, had this insight about what it is like to work with Tony, “As someone who loves what he does, I’ve never seen someone so dedicated as Tony. Back in 2023, he missed 1 football game due to being sick. I’ve never seen someone so upset to have to miss a game! That game ruined what would’ve been a perfect season for him.
He does anything and everything I’ve ever seen someone asked to do. The film reels, video interviews, articles whatever it is I’ve seen Tony do it! That’s someone I’d love to have a part of my team every day of the week! He’s the definition of hard work and dedication.
As a person, Tony is as welcoming as they come. From my first day with Kee On Sports to today, Tony has been extremely supportive and is always open to giving tips and tricks he’s learned along the way to help others succeed! Congratulations Tony!”
Speaking of beat reporters, another huge addition has been the extremely talented Devin Lowe who also had this to say about the one and only Tony Bogan, “So happy for Tony because he’s one of the hardest working guys in the entire state. From the very first time I walked onto a sideline to cover a game, Tony has been the most helpful and friendliest person I’ve come across. Tony being such an integral part of Kee On Sports is part of what led me to join the team. I’m happy to work alongside the best High School Sports Director in Northeast Ohio media!”
Our head of Marketing and Growth Development Don McKee had this to share about Tony, “Tony Bogan has shown since the beginning that he is all in for the Student Athletes of Northeast Ohio. He is fully committed to leading Kee On Sports as the new Director of HS Sports. I’m excited to see his energy at this level.”
Tony will be back on the beat this Sunday from the Canton Fieldhouse in coverage of the OHSAA Boys Basketball Final Four matchups. Tony, on behalf of everyone at Kee On Sports, thank you and we are very proud of you! Congratulations!
