Cody Rhodes to Face John Cena Twice WrestleMania Weekend?

Why are we convinced that Cody and John Cena are only fighting once on WrestleMania Weekend? The WWE showed us last year that they have no problems at all placing their Night Two Main eventers on both nights.  Not to mention the fact, they have no problem starting night two with a World Championship Title match.  A spot that could easily go to Gunther vs Jey Uso on night two.

So, is it that crazy to think we don’t see one of these three scenarios?

Scenario One

Cody teams up with Stone Cold Steve Austin to take on Cena and The Rock.  The match ends night one as Cody receives a vicious beatdown from Austin, The Rock and Cena.  Once again creating a massive hill to climb for Rhodes night two, much like last year.

Scenario Two

John Cena defeats Cody Rhodes to close out night one as Undisputed WWE Champion.  Rhodes loses but closes out the night with the microphone saying he will be cashing in his rematch clause that is placed into every single World Championship match if the champ loses.

Let’s face it, no one sees Cena having a long run with the title if he does win #17.  This would be an easy out for the WWE creative team as they get Cena the record and then the very next night put the belt right back on Cody Rhodes.

Scenario Three

CM Punk teams with Cody on night one to face The Rock & John Cena

And then, there is CM Punk with that favor of his, do we see it cashed in before WrestleMania or at WrestleMania?  With Roman Reigns lingering in the background of the Seth Rollins vs CM Punk cage match next week on RAW, cards will begin to show themselves soon.

When does CM Punk get his WrestleMania Main event?  Does he team with Cody on night one to take on John Cena and The Rock?  Two guys he absolutely destroyed in his promo the other night?  Punk can fight both nights two.  So many options right now….

Which of these 3 do you feel will happen?
