by It was reported that Red Robin announced that it is considering closing around 70 underperforming locations as the gourmet burger chain attempts to repay debt. The chain’s total revenues for 2024 are $1.25 billion, a decrease of $54.5 million when compared to 2023, according to a February earnings release. Red Robin’s net loss was $77.5 million in 2024, compared to a net loss of $21.2 million in 2023, the company said.
In other news, McDonalds will be bringing back their McRib Sandwich this June. It last appeared in December and they like to roll out it once every six months. But what exactly is a McRib you ask?
- The McRib is a boneless pork patty with barbecue sauce, onions, pickles, and McRib sauce on a homestyle bun.
- The McRib sauce is flavored with spices, chili pepper, beet powder, onion and garlic powders, and “natural smoke flavor”.
- The pork patty contains pork, water, dextrose, and rosemary extract.
