WrestleMania 35 is right around the corner from New York New Jersey and the outdoor venue should provide plenty of excited but somewhat frosty fans.
While this year’s venue may leave a little to be desired for, there is no denying there have been some great ones over the years!
- The Pontiac Silverdome for WrestleMania III
Anytime you pack 93,000 fans inside of a football stadium, you’re going to get people talking. This still goes down as one of the greatest and most memorable WrestleMania’s of all time, and a large part of it is due to the gigantic crowd that assembled that fateful March day in Detroit.
2. Caesars Palace for WrestleMania IX
While many regard this as one of the worst Mania’s of all time, many forget this was actually the first time WrestleMania was outside. So sure, the card was lacking, but seeing the windy conditions made things just a smidge better! They turned the arena into the Roman Coliseum and it was really cool.
3. The Houston Astrodome for WrestleMania X7
There is that WrestleMania again. Hard to argue with this massive structure and the loudness that went on there that night. The perfect venue for the perfect card!
4. The Toronto Skydome for WrestleMania VI
Yes, it would host it again for WrestleMania XVIII, but this is the one we remember. And why is that you ask? Simple, it was the night the Ultimate Warrior challenged Hulk Hogan in the first ever Good Guy vs Good Guy Main event.
5. The Superdome for WrestleMania XXX and XXXIV
It is just a great place to hold any big game, big fight or big event of any kind! Keep the lights on the entire show, and that is just an extra bonus!
