Fearing the momentum shifting from the Bulldogs to the Middies the Bulldog offense needed to create a successful drive. They started their drive deep in their own territory and things were looking bleak as they seemingly stalled before getting to midfield. But, on third down #9 Rosol was able to break away from a tackle and get a 62-yard touchdown run.

They would get stalled and were forced to make a tough call, kick the field goal or go for the fourth and three. Head coach Jack Armstrong decided on the latter and the Bulldog defense was able to force the turnover on downs.
The Bulldog offense would, you guessed it, rely heavily on the ground offense for their drive. Who would get the touchdown from 21-yards out, none but Bulldog running back #26 Singleton.
