Browns vs. Raiders Logos

Browns @ Raiders Keys to Victory

Another day closer to the 1-2 Browns taking on the 1-2 Las Vegas Raiders. Recent news that Devante Adams and Maxx Crosby will both miss the game give Browns’ fans hope. The Browns however, will need to use a patchwork offensive line, as Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin have both been ruled out. Both Pierre Strong Jr. and David Njoku will miss this game as well. An already injured Myles Garrett will play, but may be limited to a specific number of snaps.

Maxx Crosby has been on a tear to start the year, so with the news that he is out, Watson can breathe a bit easier. Adams has had a quiet start to the season. The defense can focus in on containing rookie tight end Brock Bowers. Having watched him in college and seeing his hot start in the NFL, it is obvious that he has the catching ability of a receiver and is also a solid blocking end.

The Browns key on offense is, once again, block Deshaun Watson. The line will need to give him more time to see the field. He has been sacked 16 times already (most in the NFL), almost matching all of last year’s total of 17. Let Amari Cooper continue to torch defenses like last game, and find Jerry Jeudy in the open field.
