The Wadsworth Grizzlies had a very effective and balanced offensive attack that Medina simply could not stop. This efficient offensive attack combined with a great defensive performance led to a 51-7 victory for the Grizzlies.
Medina’s offense was shut down all night as quarterback Cason Diiulio only completed 14 passes on 32 attempts for 102 yards and 3 interceptions. To make matters worse, the running game was very underwhelming with running back Cooper Joesfczyk having just 71 yards on 12 carries.

Wadsworth’s run game was also effective as running backs Cooper Gray and Gavin Madigan combined for 211 yards rushing while Gavin Madigan had 3 rushing touchdowns.
Wadsworth quarterback Brysen Hall threw a 69 yard touchdown pass to Calix Lemp on the opening drive to take a 7-0 lead. This was followed by Medina quarterback Cason Diiulio throwing an interception on Medina’s opening drive. Not long after the interception Hall threw a 45 yard touchdown pass to Jacob Earnest to put Wadsworth up 14-0 early. Gavin Madigan also had a 39 yard touchdown run to put the Grizzlies up 21-0 in the first quarter. However, a pick six by Korde Carey of Medina made the score 21-7 with Wadsworth leading.

However, Gavin Madigan had a 18 yard touchdown run to put Wadsworth up 44-7 in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter backup quarterback Kyle Schmeltzer had a 2 yard touchdown run to put Wadsworth up 51-7.
