WWE MITB: Will Drew McIntyre Walk Out World Champion?

There have been plenty of WWE Superstars who have won the MITB and cashed it in to win the gold.  A few of those same men who have cashed in, have also been the victims of cash ins as well, including Edge, Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins as men who have been on both sides of the coin.

So, while that has been done before, there has never been a champion to lose the World Championship on a cash in, only to turn around and win the MITB a few months later and then cash it in on the same person who cashed it in on them.

Well folks, with that in mind, it almost seems too obvious that Drew McIntyre who is red hot right now, will cash it in on the injured Damien Priest during or after the champ’s title defense against Seth Rollins Saturday night at WWE MITB. The irony of it all sets up the entire situation perfectly.

Let’s follow the bouncing ball here if we can

Drew defeats an injured Seth Rollins to capture the belt at WrestleMania,

CM Punk messes with Drew post-match and costs him the belt as Damien comes down and cashes in at WrestleMania.

Drew wins the MITB Saturday in Toronto and then promptly cashes it in later in the evening against Damien in the ultimate moment of irony.

CM Punk attacks Drew postmatch after his cash in, and we’re off to the races for SummerSlam.  A four-way title match at SummerSlam makes perfect sense as neither Priest or CM Punk are completely healthy yet and Rollins and Drew will carry the load if need be.

No matter the conspiracy theory you may come up with, the safe money is on Drew to win, cash in and go home champion after WWE MITB from Toronto on Saturday night.
