Stop 8 of the 2024 Summer Park Tour took us to Kid’s Quarters in Brecksville for the first time ever, and we will be back as it was amazing! I’m very excited to share my thoughts on the park with parents and families everywhere.

About the Park
Behind the Brecksville Community Center, Kids Quarters Playground is a great place to spend the day with your family. There is a large play structure with plenty of slides, climbing areas, and ramps. Several bench swings, a tire swing and a zip line are also great features. There is no shortage of things to do and the levels of comfort for parents and kids are unmatched. It is smack dab in the middle of a beautiful community as well.
Access to the Park
I would recommend parking at the Community Center and then walking out back. If not, you have 3 separate parking lots to choose from, but two of them have giant hills to scale by foot.
Things to do
The playground is really large and has many different areas that will keep kids of all ages entertained for hours. Families with toddlers and preschoolers will appreciate the separate fenced area especially designed for younger children. It is fenced in as well for safety.
While you are there make sure to take a walk around the playground, past the fountain and through the children’s garden. There is also a large metal in-ground slide and concrete tunnel to explore. My kids loved exploring the tunnel and every inch of the multi facet park. You will have a blast from the time you get there until you leave.

Bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the multiple pavilions. There are also two sets of benches and even a bench swing near the playground. It is the perfect place for parents with older kids who want to sit and relax in the shade. This park has multiple options to sit where you can watch your kids play and also read a book or magazine if you choose.

Clean indoor plumbing separated by gender. Another huge bonus for an amazing playground.
Best part of the park
There is a sandbox in the playground. Bring sand toys to make it extra fun! It is also gigantic so your child will not get bored easily, and you can spend several hours there. A favorite amongst kids of all ages, remains the zip line!
