The Avon Eagles hosted the Amherst Steele Comets on the hardwood Wednesday night. Avon took the early lead, but the Comets would not be denied. The Comets tied it up at 47 in the final 90 seconds. Avon held tough and took home the W on senior night. Avon take home the win 51-47.

As a comet fan I can’t figure out this team, they have a ton of talent just can’t seem to get it going on a consistent basis. I really hate to say this but this program may need a fresh start with a new approach next season. Good luck girls the rest of the season!
