Berea-Midpark beat Midview 37-0 behind Noah Silva who rushed for two touchdowns. The Titans offense struggled out the gate being held to multiple turnovers on downs. Eventually they were able to find their way after establishing the running game that opened all facets of the game for them. Their defense played well, holding Midview to a shutout. Berea-Midpark’s defensive line was a problem for Midview’s offensive line all night.

Midview’s offense struggled to put anything together. Their offensive line had a hard time containing Berea-Midpark’s defensive line which led to them allowing a lot of pressure. On both opening drives, Berea-Midpark and Midview were held to three and outs. After a bad punt by Midview, the Titans got good field position starting at Midview’s 44-yard line. A series of penalties pushed Berea-Midpark back and forced another turnover on downs. After a second three and out by MIdview, Noah Silva drove the Titans down the field for a 45-yard rushing touchdown, and then they converted a two-point conversion to take the lead 8-0. The Middies were putting together a nice drive, but the Titans defense held them to a four and out. On the first play of their next drive, Daniel Bowser threw a deep pass to Devyn Zahursky to put them in Middies territory.

On fourth down Berea-Midpark tried a wildcat play where Zahursky was at quarterback, but they were unable to convert. Midview was forced into another three and out, and on the punt, Austin Clay had a nice return to put Berea-Midpark in the red zone. Midview’s defense was able to hold strong and force another turnover on downs. After a delay of game penalty, the Titans were able to force a safety to go up 10-0. On fourth down Berea-Midpark ran a fake punt and was able to get the first down. Noah Silva got his second rushing touchdown of the game off a 30-yard run to go up 17-0. With 13 seconds left Midview committed a pass interference on fourth down. A direct snap to Zahursky took the Titans down to the two-yard line with 7 seconds left. Two plays later Zahursky took another direct snap in for a one-yard touchdown but failed the two-point conversion. Berea-Midpark led 23-0 at the half.

In the third quarter Berea-Midpark was able to extend their lead to 30-0. After stopping Midview again, the Titans were able to drive down the field into the red zone. Vincent Weaver ran it in for a eight yard rushing touchdown to go up 37-0.

On a drive that didn’t look promising, Ethan Elbert found Dane West on a slant that West took deep into Titan’s territory.
