PARK REVIEW: Middleburgh Hts Park

I’m not sure if this park has an official name or not, but if I could name it, I would call it, “AWESOME PARK”.  My family stumbled upon it today by accident, and it quickly became a favorite!  The easiest way I can explain it is this, we were trying to get to FRY Road Park and it was blocked so we cut back up to Bagley and stumbled into this gem!  My oldest daughter Maggie turned her head in the car and looked out the window at the perfect time to say, “Oh, a park!”

What we found from there was a huge open space of 5 playground sets, plenty to do, clean atmosphere and a great time!  Let’s get to the grades.

Access to the park

Grade – A

It’s literally right behind the Middleburgh Hts police department with all kinds of parking and plenty of room.

Cleanliness

Grade – B

It was really clean, however when they go wood chips over that soft rubber, it knocks it down to a B. Still though, even with that being said, for a park that huge to be that clean, is impressive!

Things to do at the park

Grade – A+

Oh my God, you won’t get bored at this park / playground.  There is literally something for everyone! From slides, to swings, to tunnels, to walls to bochee ball courts and everything in between, including baseball fields. This is the kind of park you pack a lunch and make a day out of it!

Places for parents to sit

Grade – A

Even with a massive amount of space, they had a ton of places to sit including an amazing pavilion in direct vision of the playgrounds where you can escape from the sun.  No issues at all.

Bathroom Situation

Grade – N/A

Okay, I didn’t see one, HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean there isn’t one, it just means I never saw it. However, the place was gigantic, and I never walked over to the baseball fields, I’m guessing one was there.

Best part of the park

Just the variety and the atmosphere.  We attended this park right after McGovern Park and it felt like we stepped out of Jurassic Park into Disney World. A great surprise!

Would we go back?

Oh yeah, we will!  What a great time, I would highly recommend it to any family.
