Stop Nine on the 2023 Summer Park Tour took us to COSI Park in Columbus. There was not much at all to offer with this one, and if it wasn’t directly outside of the COSI Science Center, there wouldn’t have been much reason to stop. However, after being inside for nearly 5 hours at the center, some sunlight and fresh air was much needed.
This will more than likely be the longest drive to a park this summer from our home in North Olmsted, Ohio, so let’s get right to handing out the grades.

Accessibility
Grade C
It is easy to find right outside of the parking garage and directly in front of the science center. However, you have to pay at least $10 to park, which lowers the grade soundly.
Things to do
Grade C
Not much at all. A swing set, two play sets, and a few iron things to climb on. That’s about it folks. Not exactly worth the $10 to park, UNLESS, there is a touch a truck going on like today, then it is well worth it!
Places for Parents to sit
Grade C
Three benches, but only one in the shade.
Bathroom Situation
Grade A
Indoor plumbing and toilets available near the parking garage.
Cleanliness
Grade A
Columbus is very clean everywhere you go, and this park is no different.
Best part of the park – The soft rubber part on your feet, keeps you comfortable while you stand.
Would we go again?
Sure, if we go to COSI again, I mean, it’s right there. Would we make a special trip just go to this park? No, I cannot imagine a single person who would.
