Ryan St. Pierre and Mackie Stickler combine for eight goals as Hudson rolls to 18-7 victory over Revere

The Hudson Explorers rolled to an 18-7 win over the Revere Minutemen on Tuesday night at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

Hudson got things going early with a goal from sophomore Mackie Stickler 40 seconds into the game. Revere countered with a goal from junior Clarissa Bodjanac to even the score a short time later. Bodjanac scored another goal to give Revere the lead, 2-1.

Mackie Stickler countered with her second goal to knot the score at 2 at the 17:36 mark of the first half. It didn’t take the Explorers long to take the lead, as Emma Palmer scored the go-ahead goal.

Ryan St. Pierre added a goal to make the score 4-2. The Explorers didn’t stop there, as Mackie Stickler added her third goal, and senior attack Blake Wervey scored twice to increase the lead to 7-2. Their scoring run continued as Ryan St. Pierre scored, followed by sophomores Grace Churchwell and Ava Kuss. Junior Audra Lozina also scored to increase the lead to 11-2.

Clarissa Bodjanac scored her third goal of the game to break the Hudson scoring run late in the first half. Hudson countered with goals from Ryan St. Pierre and Emma Palmer, taking a 13-3 lead at the half.

In the second half, Hudson got goals from Ryan St. Pierre, Emma Palmer, Mackie Stickler, and Grace Churchwell. Revere got goals from Bentley Huffman, a pair from Lola Downing, and a goal from Clainey Penzenik.

Hudson (9-2) hosts Medina on Thursday, April 27th. Penn State lacrosse commit Ryan St. Pierre had four goals, as did Mackie Stickler. Emma Palmer had three goals. Blake Wervey and Grace Churchwell each scored twice.

Revere (7-3-1) travels to Medina Highland on Wednesday, April 26th. The Minutemen got three goals from junior Clarissa Bodjanac, and a pair of goals from sophomore Lola Downing.
