The gym was packed for a battle between the top two teams in the SWC. The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs played host to the Midview Middies on Saturday afternoon and the game lived up to the hype as the Bulldogs captured a 63-43 victory.
It was a back and fourth first quarter between the two teams but a couple of Paige Kohler three pointers helped the Bulldogs take a 11-8 lead after one.
During the second, both offenses picked up. Mary Meng for the Middies looked unstoppable as she dominated inside the paint and helped the Middies come back within 1, but the Bulldogs battled back and took a 22-19 lead at the half. Paige Kohler led all scorers at the half with 10 and Mary Meng had 8 for the Middies.
The Midview Middies started the third quarter hot and took a 3 point lead early on, but the Bulldogs, led by Paige Kohler again, went on a run of their own and held a 35-28 lead after three. The Bulldogs took over the fourth quarter hitting several threes and playing excellent defense down the stretch. They ended up winning the game 63-43.
Paige Kohler led the Bulldogs with 21. Danielle Cameron also helped 19 of her own. Mary Meng led the Middies with 18

Midview has 3x the talent top to bottom that Olmsted Falls does. What a shame, the only thing stopping this Middie Team is coaching. Congrats to Head Coach Jordan Eaton as his team clearly believes in him and a system that works. Less time on twitter, and more time game planning. A winning combo!
