Earlier today North Ridgeville Lady Ranger Grace Kingery, became one of the fastest players in school history to reach the 1,000th point mark. She started off red hot, with 10 points in the first 3 minutes of the game at Rocky River. This was part of a 20 point performance.
Kingery is a hard worker, in the gym constantly and humble to those around her. She speaks volumes with her play and has improved dramatically from day one of being a force on this varsity team as a freshman. We love covering Grace and her hardworking teammates and this 1,000th point, is a great reflection of the entire program at North Ridgeville.
From everyone at Kee On Sports, congrats to Grace Kingery, Head Coach Amy Esser along with assistants Ray Mariner, Cheryl Bansek-Polito, Brianna Fortney and Greg Weimer. Also your teammates as well. It was a feel-good moment for all involved.
I spoke with head coach Esser after the game who had this to say, “Grace is such a hardworker and great teammate, it is great to see her reach this milestone as a Junior. It is a great example of her work ethic and commitment to the game. “
A full photo gallery of the celebration along with a video of the moment itself, can be found on page two. Enjoy!
