North Olmsted residents will once again have a major decision on their hands when they arrive at the voting booth on Tuesday November 8th. A levy to support the schools (Issue 8) will be on the ballot after failing to pass this past May.
While Kee On Sports does its best to stay out of political issues of any kind, I do report heavily on North Olmsted sports, and my wife and children live in North Olmsted and play sports in North Olmsted so I thought I would take the liberty of sharing a few items.
Right now, a lot of parents are upset about having to take 30-45 minutes off of work in the middle of their day, 5 days a week, just to pick up their kids from school. Lines have been insane, as the one at Maple School extends all the way down to Columbia with cars lined up waiting. This was just one of many minor “tweaks” to the budget after the first set of cuts resulting in the lack of bussing if you live under 2 miles from a school.
Now, it will be the sports program that is hit next. A full list of major cuts coming to North Olmsted Sports programs can be found on page two. You may want to sit down, as it is not pretty.
Vince I went to Maple and I walked. I also went half day kindergarten. Why can’t these lazy fuck kids do the same?
“I had a piss poor education, why can’t everyone else be happy with a piss poor education?”
You sound like such a miserable fuck.
