Rocky River Running Back Johnny Bebie Wins Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week 4

There were several big performances in Week 4 of the OHSAA High School Football Season.  Perhaps none bigger than the one by Johnny Bebie, who led the Rocky River Pirates to a big road victory at GLC rival Lakewood by a score of 38-6.  Johnny was determined to lead the Pirates to their first win of the season, and did so with 313 yards on the ground, and 3 touchdowns.

Bebie has some big shoes to fill from older brothers Owen and Tommy before him, but he showed this week that he is more than ready to not only fill those shoes, but wear them across the goal line, time and time again!

Bebie and the Pirates will look to string two in a row together this weekend as they host GLC powerhouse, Elyria Catholic.  As you recall, these were two of the top teams in the conference last year and this should be one heck of a game!

Congrats to Johnny Bebie and his teammates.

This week’s player of the week is sponsored by Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn.
