The hype behind this Cleveland Browns football team is through the roof. This season, the Browns are hosting 15 free practices to the public in Berea starting Thursday, July 25th through Wednesday, Aug. 21st.
With such high demand for tickets, they were released in two separate waves. The first wave was released on June 26th and were all sold out in just under an hour. Due to the staggering rate at which the tickets sold out during the first wave, season ticket holders were given a two-day pre-sale for the second wave of tickets.
These tickets became available Wednesday, July 11th and took only 90 minutes to sell out the second time. The open practices will primarily be held in the morning, starting at 10 a.m. On Saturday, Aug. 3, the Orange & Brown Scrimmage will return to FirstEnergy Stadium from 4-6 p.m.
The Browns will also hold three joint practices with the Indianapolis Colts at their training facility in Westfield, Indiana Aug. 14-16. Those practices lead up to the team’s second preseason game Aug. 17 against the Colts.
The schedule for the Browns’ preseason games is as follows:
- Thursday, Aug. 8: Browns vs. Redskins, 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 17: Browns at Colts, 4 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 23: Browns at Buccaneers, 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 29: Browns vs. Lions, 7:30 p.m.
The Browns open the regular season up at FirstEnergy Stadium as they host the Titans Sept. 8 at 1 p.m.
