BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men’s lacrosse team became Ohio Athletic Conference regular season champions for the second consecutive season with a victory over OAC foe Ohio Northern University. The Yellow Jackets claimed a 9-6 victory on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
BW Leaders (13-3, 9-0)
- Junior midfielder Jake Branton (Marysville) led the team with a career-best three goals.
- Junior All-OAC midfielder Kyler Byerly (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) added two goals and an assist.
- Sophomore All-OAC midfielder Jake Nanosky (Medina) led the team with four assists
- Junior All-OAC goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) made eight saves.
- BW went undefeated in the OAC for the second straight season.
Ohio Northern Leaders (11-4, 7-2 OAC)
- Alex Reimer and Ben Gawronski both led the team with two goals each.
- Cole Zaferakis led with six saves.
