North Olmsted Police Department Involved In Wild Shootout

The North Olmsted police department responded in tremendous fashion today as a wild shootout occurred earlier today near Dover Center and Lorain Road. The suspect has been taken into custody and the matter appears to be under control at this time.  Please see the below press release for full detail.

A man entered the Starbucks on Lorain Rd, merely seconds way from the North Olmsted Police Department and tried to hold the place up along with its patrons.

Officers responded to the scene right away and it led to a chase near Dover Center and Lorain.  A shootout was had and the officers eventually connected to bring down the suspect.

On a side note, how dumb do you have to be to try and commit a major crime only 30 seconds from the police station?

  1. It’s days like this to be reminded how important the role of a police officer is in our lives. God bless none of the men and women in blue did not get shot or hurt. I back the blue, they are important men and women.

  2. North Olmsted you did a good job today with this
shootout. I was at the light waiting to turn on Dover
and I seen him running down Dover when the first officer tried to stop him. Thank God the bullet did not hit the officer. Keep up the good job protecting
    Residents in North Olmsted.
