WWE Super Showdown Hot Takes

WWE Super Showdown was live earlier today from Saudi Arabia and it had both it’s highlights and lowlights. Let’s get right to it. Here are the biggest takeaways from today’s super show.

Battle Royals in WWE have become a joke.

It has become painfully clear that the WWE can care less who wins their battle royals. It was proven even further today with a lackluster cast of combatants and then someone none of us had ever heard of winning it.

50 was too much to begin with, and it didn’t help matters or make it any more watchable. There were some nice highlights mixed in, but overall, far from a classic. Why not put a guy like Drew McIntyre in there and have him continue to build momentum?

Also, can we knock it off already with the whole “Titus O’Neil” running to the ring joke. We get it, he tripped once, who honestly cares anymore? The whole gimmick has been lousy since day one and Mr. Worldwide should have been canned 8 years ago.
