The Detroit Pistons were awarded the prized number 1 overall selection and unless they decide to use this pick in a trade it is all but obvious who they will use it on. Although it is highly unlikely for the Pistons to consider any other player for this pick, many guys have put themselves in position to entice other hopeful teams in the lottery looking for the next big talent.
In this mock draft, we’ll break down those lottery teams and who they’ll likely pick based upon that player’s skillset, team fit, and potential role.
