The COVID 19 era of the UFC has seen some slow cards, tonight was not one of those nights as it was an absolute shootout from minute one. If you pay the $5 a month for ESPN Plus, you just got your money back tenfold tonight.  It was a 14-fight card, that alone has the potential to be a disaster or great, this was great!

The 8-fight undercard saw 3 knockouts with

Tyson Nam over Jerome Rivera at the 0:34 of the 2nd

Randy Costa over Journey Newson at the 42 second mark of the fight.

Jessica Rose Clark over Sarah Alper the 4:21 mark of the 3rd round.

It also saw 3 decisions with

Darrick Minner over TJ Laramie by guillotine choke 52 seconds in to the fight.

Mayra Bueno Silva over Mara Romero Borella by armbar submission at just 2:29 of the opening round.

Damon Jackson over Mirsad Bektic by guillotine choke at 3:21 of the third.

The main card would provide plenty of highlights and fast finishes as well.

It was

Mackenzie Dern over Randa Markos by armbar submission at 3:44 of the fight.

Johnny Walker by KO at 2:43 of the opening round over Ryan Spann

And in perhaps the knockout of the night, it was Khamzat Chimaev only needing 17 seconds and one punch to knock Gerald Meerschaert cold.  Chimaev may be the MVP of the UFC COVID 19 era.  He is now 3-0 since July 16 with a second-round submission and two first round knockouts.

The only skud of the night was the Co Main Event that saw Donald Cerrone and his opponent Niko Price combine to land more eye pokes than power shots in a lackluster majority draw.

Details of the Grudge Match Main event of Tyron Woodley versus Colby Covington can be found on page two.
