5 Reasons Why Kevin Stefanski Is The NFL Coach Of The Year

While still not great, Baker is improving!

He has kept Baker Mayfields mouth in check.  The young QB needed someone to learn from and grow under and that is exactly what is happening. Mayfield is still far from elite, but he has been serviceable and isn’t costing them games. Mayfield is 180 of 294 passing through 11 games with 2108 yards and 17 touchdowns next to only 7 interceptions.

He understands that Baker is at his best rolling out, and if you keep him in the pocket he is at his best with the timing routes.  He knows how to coach his QB, and it looks promising only 11 games into his system.  Give it time and let’s see where it goes.
