The seven-time Southwestern Conference Champions kicked off their campaign for number eight with a dominant 42-6 win over Elyria. QB Nolan Good found Cole Kepner for a 63-yard score just over a minute into the game, and the Eagles were off and running. Good finished with 146 yards and three touchdowns through the air and another on the ground. RB Jakorion Caffey added 109 yards and a touchdown. Avon will face a stiff test this week as they hit the road to take on North Ridgeville (4-0).
