3 Red Flags In The Browns 37-14 Loss To The Arizona Cardinals

Turning the ball over

Stop going for it on fourth down and take the points.  You have a kicker in Chase McLaughlin who hasn’t missed once this season. Sometimes you simply need to take the points.  The Browns went 1-4 on fourth down today.

Also, there is the traditional sense of the term “turnover” which is caused by interceptions and fumbles.  The Brown had plenty of those today, as Baker Mayfield was picked off and fumbled twice as well.

It wasn’t the game from Hell for Baker, but it was close.  He went 19 of 28 while throwing for 234 yards and two touchdowns.  His counterpart Kyler Murray once again outplayed Baker, going 20 of 30 for 229 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Browns turned the ball over 6 times when you factor everything in.  The Cardinals did not.
