Reason – Every once and awhile in WWE, you get the vaunted MMA Doctor stoppage. It is something you see occur every 5 -10 years or so. We saw it at SummerSlam 2016 with Randy Orton versus Brock Lesnar. But other than that, it is a very rare occurrence.
They are building Li to be this maniacal possessed monster. Not only do they need her to beat a badass like Martinez, but they need her to stomp her bloody and out cold until the doctor hops in the ring and ends it. Trust me, this one is not ending with a rollup finish.
Martinez is billed as this tough persona without fear, and too tough to give up. The NXT will leave her no choice tonight, thus, getting both women over at the same time and furthering the mysterious storyline of Li in the process.
