by Prediction – Neither Cameron Grimes or LA Knight will win the Million Dollar Championship tonight.
Reason – Let’s face it, the Million Dollar Championship is to be taken serious and neither one of these guys is looked at that way from the fans. Grimes is entertaining at times, but more so annoying and doesn’t command the kind of respect that comes with the prestige of the Million Dollar belt.
As for LA Knight, that entire gimmick needs to be scrapped. He was a true talent as Eli Drake and it confuses me as to why they didn’t allow him to keep that persona when arriving in NXT to begin with. He may still go on to do big things in NXT, but I don’t see it happening tonight.
Considering this is a ladder match, there must be a winner and they have somewhat booked themselves into a corner. I’m not sure who it will be, but I do see a surprise entrant late that becomes the hand picked champion from Ted Dibase himself.
