Reason – The champions defending are either too new, or too dominant to lose just yet. The only way I see a title changing hands is in the 6 man tag, but I just don’t see them taking the strap off with Bronson Reed or MSK just weeks after securing them.
It would be the easy way out to take the belt off Karion Kross in a match where he doesn’t have to be beat to lose the title. However, at the same time, he just won it a few months ago and is still looking for that first big 1 on 1 feud as champion. I see tonight planting the seed for that to happen with Kyle O’Reilly moving forward.
As for the Raquel Gonzalez versus Ember Moon matchup, I cannot think of a single reason for picking Ember Moon in that one. She’s done little to nothing to even deserve the title shot, and Gonzalez is just getting started with what appears to be a lengthy and dominant title run.
