We stumbled upon a fantastic park today by accident as we didn’t even realize it existed. What a tremendous surprise it was as this park has everything and will be in our top five for the 2024 Summer Park Tour, that I can guarantee you! This was Stop 29 of the 2024 Summer Park Tour that will see 40 total stops. Again, after 29, this is an easy Top 5 selection with 11 to go.
Here now, are the detail your family will need to know for their visit.
James P Brock Memorial Park
Location
7600 Memphis Ave. Brooklyn, OH 44144
About the park
This park is located about 4 minutes from Brooklyn High School and 4 minutes from World Famous Kiddie Park. It is hidden a bit as Brooklyn is a smaller city, but if you find it, you will not forget it. This park is incredible and has everything you need. The park itself is pretty massive, and if you walk around you will discover a basketball court, volleyball area amongst pavilions for parties and 3 giant playsets loaded with color.
Access to the park
10 minutes from 480 on Ridge, and 5 minutes from 480 on Tiedman. An easy find and large enough parking lot that you shouldn’t have any troubles.
Things to do

Best part of the park
I love the colors that are bright and noticeable on all 3 giant playsets. They also use metal and not that hard plastic which is also a plus. We really loved this park!
