Game Padua at Holy Name
Result 21- 9 Padua
Week One Warriors
Padua Running Back Rod Love with 186 yards and 2 Touchdowns. He single handily brought the Bruins back in this game, and took full control in the second half as the Holy Name Namers couldn’t stop him.
Padua head coach Kevin Kubit who had been with the program for years, but never had the chance to run the ship until this night and did a masterful job. Kubit brought his team back, week one, in a rivalry game on the road and secured the victory!
That Padua offensive line was massive, and in the end, it made all the difference as they had their way.
Holy Name RB William Dix Jr had 66 yards on only 12 carries for a 5.5 yards per carry average. Had the Namers given him the ball 24 times instead of 12, they may have won easily, he was that good.
Holy Name PK Chase Jozity for nailing three field goals in the first half. I mean honestly, how often do yo see that!
Holy Name AD Richard Kozub for serving up Raising Canes for the pre-game meal and always taking incredible care of Kee On Sports!
