The Holy War St. Ignatius at St. Ed’s
Result 42-7 St. Ed’s
Week Seven Warriors
St. Ignatius kickoff returner / WR Max Ritt with 125 yards in kick returns
St. Ignatius running back Grant Washinton who picked up 81 yards on 11 carries as the one and only source of offense for the Wildcats on this night.
St. Ed’s quarterback Casey Bullock went 12 of 16 passing for 257 yards with touchdown passes of 20, 29 and 14 yards after no one thought the banged-up quarterback would even play.
St. Ed’s coach Tom Lombardo who continued to see his Eagles dominate in this series since 2018. They have not lost to their rival since the 2018 season finale and have put up back-to-back running clocks in the last two Holy Wars.
St. Ed’s running back Brandon White who ran for 49 yards on 8 carries with a touchdown. He also caught 2 passes for 36 yards and a touchdown. He proved to be a duel threat on this night and it would set the tone for his importance the rest of the season.
St. Ed’s wide receiver Brian Sullivan with 3 catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.
