The Middies avenged last year’s opening week loss against Rocky River with a picture perfect 21-0 victory over the Pirates. Since then, however, it has been a rough go. They blew a lead against Strongsville and got roughed up by Avon Lake, Olmsted Falls and Elyria Catholic. It took nearly all 48 minutes to get past Amherst.
Even with that being said, I refuse to give up on this team, they have some serious speed and size on offense. A strong armed and strong-willed quarterback in Marc Reed, who is also someone who has been through it before as a two year starter. They also have one of the quickest and most underrated players in the conference when it comes to Mason Kucera.
With that being said, don’t count them out of any game.
