2022 SWC Power Rankings

#1 Avon Eagles

Overall record 5-1

Conference record 3-0

Do I really need to type anything here?  They are the New York Yankee’s, the LA Lakers, the New England Patriots, they are THAT TEAM! Never count them out.  This team is loaded with returning starters all over the ball on both sides.

They didn’t shy away from a tough schedule either, starting the season in Florida, hosting Medina in a shootout and then hosting Glenville.  All of this, leading up to their yearly showdown with Avon Lake.  As mentioned they are loaded on both sides of the ball. Gavin Ehrhardt has proven he can play on both sides of the ball and bring the pain as a ball carrier and on the defense as well.

Cam Santee is another player to watch as he has proven to be very versatile no matter where you place him.  Not to mention All Conference running back Jakorion Caffey who has the kind of potential to rush for 1800 yards every season.

They are led by quarterback Sam DeTillio, who is smart with the ball and doesn’t shy away from the big moment.  Etan Holbrook has more then proven to be a major downfield threat as well.  Luke Hamilton is one of the best tackles in the state, and this Eagle team is coached by Mike Elder.  A name that carries respect anywhere he goes.

The Eagles will have their toughest test coming up this weekend at Olmsted Falls.

All of this leads me to believe one thing…….
