Playoff appearance – Win at Brunswick, loss at St. Ed’s
2021 – For years, the Titans always had the potential, but just couldn’t seem to get it done when it counted. 2021 changed all of that for the Titans. After a rough start with losses at Highland and Nordonia, the Titans caught fire and won 5 straight heading into a week 8 matchup with Avon. This included a big upset 23-17 win at Avon Lake where their defense stepped up huge!
Luke Devins led them into the playoffs following an injury in the final game of the regular season against Olmsted Falls. The senior quarterback battled back for the playoff game in which they went on the road and defeated Brunswick in a thriller. Their postseason would end at St. Edward’s, the best team in the state but not before an excellent run to the postseason. De’Angelo Borders, Jack Arnold and several others had massive seasons as well.
2022 look ahead – I’m not predicting a certain amount of wins or losses, but it is the Jon Hunek high octane offense, so I will predict a ton of points and fun! Hudson Devins is back to run the ball and has the potential for a 1,000 yard season.
When I asked coach Hunek what his goal for the season is, he had this to say, “The goal for the 10th team in Titans Football History is to compete to win the SWC conference and build on last year’s playoff win with multiple playoff wins in Division 1 Region 1. “
Returning starters for the Titans will include

Hudson Devins – RB/LB
Michael Crouch – LB
Tom Mordarski – Safety
Mason Nemec – DT/OG
Tre Perry – Center
Sam Jackson – OT
Matt Sensel – Corner/WR
Carter Hinman – LB
Josh Medina – LB/Fullback
Dude if you are hoping for DVDs to return you are out of date. DVDs are a thing of the past. Look at your walmart how the DVD section is nowhere the size it was in the mid 2000s
They can just replace DVDs with Blu-Ray and 4k HD
The only part I disagree with you on is Avon Lake
As long as Kostelnik is coach Shormen will be a average team at best.
Avon Lake last 3 years went 8-2,8-2, and 7-4 (despite losing Q, RB and WR at times)….that’s not “average”
