2022-2023 High School Sports Awards

Football Teams of the Year

Avon – 9-1 in the regular season and the model of consistency. Overall, they went 12-2 with their only losses being to State Champions Glenville and Toledo Central Catholic.

Glenville – They may play in Division 4, but this Division 1 level talented team, stormed through the year to go 16-0 and capture a State Title.

St. Ed’s = Back to Back State Champions while playing against the hardest schedule in the history of the OHSAA.  There were no “off weeks” for the Eagles.

Columbia – A perfect season, magical run, and an eyelash away from playing in a state championship game.

Holy Name  A Cinderalla story that captured the GLC Crown and competed in the State Final Four.
