For the first time in WWF history, we almost saw “The Champ vs The Owner”. Yes, it was unheard of at the time but this IS the actual night it almost happened and began the downfall for WCW as well. A two-hour long episode teased this fight as McMahon had finally had enough of Austin and agreed to fight him. It turned out to be a ruse as Dude Love spoiled the party by attacking Austin in the end.
